Ballroom Dancing
|
Thursday night is dance night. The first hour from 7.45 to 8.45 is for lessons. If you are a complete novice, just want to learn to waltz for the first dance at your wedding, or are coming back to dancing from a long lay off this is the time for you. From 8.45 to 11.00 is time to practice what you have learnt. As well as Ballroom you can join in with the Sequence Dancing, Old Time and a bit of Rock & Roll.

The lessons are not formal and are designed to make everyone feel relaxed. Dancing is supposed to be fun and thats the way it is on Thursday nights. Gwen Mason (who is also the Club Chairman) does the teaching. Gwen spent many years dancing in her youth and is pleased to pass on her knowledge.
