TAMBA - Have you considered joining
the Twins & Multiple Births
Association (TAMBA)? They offer a
valuable support network, quarterly
magazines and have arranged membership
discounts with many companies,
including national stores Clarks &
Mothercare. You can access TAMBA via

information and the current
subscription rates.
TWIN PARENTCRAFT CLASSES - There
are specialist Twin parentcraft
classes run by the community midwives
at the Womens Centre at the John
Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Four
sessions are run throughout the year
more details can be obtained by
calling Phillipa Oakley on
01865 220458. These classes fill up
quickly so try to book as soon as
possible.
HOME-START CARTERTON/WITNEY Home-
Start offers support, friendship and
practical help to parents with young
children, in the local community. We
recruit and train volunteers to visit
families at home where there is at
least one child under five. Our
committed and caring volunteers offer
informal, friendly and confidential
support. Every family is special to
Home-Start and we respond to every
family's individual needs. A volunteer
offers a non-judgemental listening ear
as well as practical help with the
children. We already support local
families with twins. Please contact

could do with some extra practical
