The Countess of Munster Musical Trust Concert CALVERT-RHIND DUO ROWENA CALVERT - ‘CELLO ALISON RHIND - PIANO “Rowena Calvert is one of the most gifted cellists to have studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. Her playing is characterised by wonderful technical fluency and great musicianship. She is a performer who plays with real musical passion and audiences love her.” Malcolm Layfield (Head of Strings at the RNCM). Alison Rhind, for many years the principal accompanist at the Yehudi Menuhin School of Music is now a freelance répétiteur and accompanist, and performs regularly with Rowena.
