West Witney Bowls Club is offering a special concession to new members for the 2010 season - HALF PRICE MEMBERSHIP. Pay only £25 for a full season's bowling. Situated on the western edge of Witney, Oxfordshire this friendly and competitive club offers superb on and off green facilities for both new and experienced bowlers alike. The club provides a manicured full size 6-rink sea washed Cumberland Turf green, open to playing between May and September (inclusive) each year.
Complementing the green is a new clubhouse with panoramic views from the lounge and bar area. During the winter months, the clubhouse is open every night as the members use the facilities for indoor entertainment such as cribbage leagues and short-mat bowling.
The club has vacancies for new members whether they be beginners or experienced bowlers. Membership fees are very competitive ranging from £10 for Juniors, £30 for Senior Citizens, and £50 per annum for Full Playing membership. Match fees, inclusive of meal, are just £2-00. Full coaching facilities are available to new and existing members.
