USEA also offers expert staff to provide a talk to a group, or to attend an event, both providing lots of useful resources; information and energy saving devices. Staff holding the Enhanced Criminal Records Bureaux Disclosure, for working with vulnerable adults and children, are available.

The Affordable Warmth Project Manager (Dale Hoyland) can also provide ‘front- line staff briefing sessions’ to organisations who have direct contact with potentially vulnerable residents. This briefing sessions covers the subject of fuel poverty and affordable warmth, issues and solutions. It also provides an update on the changing grants for home efficiency improvements, with the advent of Green Deal Finance, but loss of CERT / CESP funds, and soon to lose WarmFront etc. This briefing highlights the help available from the Affordable Warmth Network, and provides a resource pack of useful literature for advising residents.
