Swerford Village Hall

Swerford Village Hall is available for hire by groups or private individuals.

Swerford is fortunate to have a spacious, well-maintained village hall that combines charm and character with sympathetic modernisation.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all catering needs including a six ring gas cooker with a large oven, a fridge freezer and a dish washer.

The hall has been adapted for use by disabled people and a loop system is available for the hard of hearing.

There are comfortable chairs, a projector and a set of display boards. It provides space for up to 75 people to meet, chat, party, learn, pray or enjoy food.

The large garden has some garden furniture and beautiful views.

Equipment is available to hire for use in the village.

The village hall committee is responsible for keeping the hall in good order and financially viable to preserve it as a resource for the Swerford community. Its job is to help and support people who want to use the hall.

Swerford residents are entitled to a 50% discount on all hire charges.

Hire of the hall: includes the use of all its facilities.

Standard hourly rate is 16, full day rate, 75

Hire charges for available items are:

Folding chairs, trestle tables, card tables, crockery, cutlery, tea urns, table linen, three quarter sized pool table: 10 each set of items.

Digital projector, large barbecue, set of art display screens: 40 per item.

All equipment to be returned clean and there will be a charge for breakages. Please discuss replacement or reimbursement with John Chaplin or Charlotte Douglass.
