The Swerford Christmas Party

Swerford residents got into the seasonal mood on Friday 11th December at the annual Christmas party.

The hall was decorated with huge Christmas tree and lots of festive lights and candles and a splendid evening was had. Foot-tapping music was provided by local band the Blue Coyotes and even some of the more mature villagers were caught singing along.

The food as ever was excellent with a range of delicious cheeses and a good choice of accompaniments. Especially tasty were the baked Brie with almonds, the homemade quiche and the homebaked mince pies.

A raffle of quality prizes was held at the end of the party and everyone went home feeling cheery and full.

The Village Hall Committee deserve a big thankyou for all the effort they put in to make the occasion special.
