The 2010 Swerford Quiz
On Saturday evening (27th February) seven teams battled their way through four gruelling rounds of questions - some of them impossible - before being allowed to break for a meal. Even then they were not safe. Just as they tucked into their well deserved supper - a picture puzzle landed on the table. Duly refreshed the teams recovered their strength to complete two more sets of twenty questions each. The scoring was close but a winner emerged - it was the team with the youngest average age -aptly named 'The Young Ones and Viv'. Who says young people aren't taught history? (or was it the sport section helped them win?)
