The mood is set

The hall was decorated with candles, Christmas lights and seasonal greenery to set the festive mood.

Anyone who hadn't already bought a ticket for the splendid raffle was vigourously encouraged to do so on the night! This very special cake was one of the star prizes.

Excellent food

Trestle tables decorated for the occasion stretched the length of the hall and bore a tremendous variety of tempting treats.

Cheeses, pates,dips, the lot!

A range of superb cheeses, pates and dips left Swerfordians and guests spoilt for choice, but somehow they managed!

Festive wreath

A superb wreath was donated as a raffle prize but it was decided to auction it instead. Bidding was brisk and the competition fierce and in the end a useful sum was raised for village hall funds.
