David Cameron visits Swerford

Image 1 for David Cameron visits Swerford
Fifty or so Swerford residents gathered in the village hall on Friday evening 19th June to 'meet their MP'.

David Cameron first presented the retiring Parish Clerk, Naomi Bowen with a token of appreciation on behalf of the Parish Council.

He then spoke about his constituency work and in particular his concerns for the future of services to rural areas.

A lively question and answer session followed which covered a range of topics from the inevitable expenses issue to more mundane concerns about the fate of Dean Pit.

The Tory leader closed by inviting any of his constituents to contact him personally by letter or e-mail with any relevant issues they wished to bring to his attention.

That brought his busy constituency day to a close but he was then whisked off by car for further commitments in London.
