Stanton Harcourt Parish Council

Welcome to the Stanton Harcourt Parish web site. The Parish Council normally meets on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Members of the public are warmly welcomed to meetings.

During every meeting there is a 'public' session when the formal meeting is closed and members of the public are invited to speak if they wish.  They can ask questions, contribute their views and ideas on current issues, and voice their concerns.  Once the formal meeting is reopened the public may speak only when invited by the Chairman. A précis of the public session including acceptable opinions, questions and answers is appended to the minutes.  Questions that cannot be answered are selectively carried forward to the Agenda of the next meeting.

The picture above shows the Old Post Office in 2009.

The second picture is of the same viewpoint, copied from a very old postcard. It shows how some parts of the village have changed very little over the years. Do you have some striking photographs of Stanton Harcourt or Sutton that could be shown here?
