We are a Witney based walking and social group for the over 50's. We welcome you to walk with us for a few weeks before deciding to join our club.
We organise Sunday morning walks starting from Woodford Way car park usually having two to choose from, a short and a long walk.Our walks are usually circular, which are led by volunteers. We break for a packed lunch during the walk. Also short walks are arranged midweek approximately once a month combined with a pub lunch. This summer we are also having some short evening walks. If conditions are unsuitable for walking, the walk may, at the discretion of the leader, be cancelled. IF IN DOUBT phone the leader on THE MORNING of the walk. Those of you who join any walk at the start instead of Woodford Way are also asked to call the leader on THE MORNING of the walk.
A monthly Newsletter is issued to Members giving information on the forthcoming walks, other outdoor activities and social events. The Annual fee is £10. Our social events consist of Whist, Bridge, a book club and a supper evening once a month. Also various other activities have been arranged.
