The Church of St Simon and St Jude

At this lovely Victorian Church you will find a very warm welcome from the Ministry Team, Churchwardens, their assistants and the congregation. Come and join us for our act of worship which takes place usually at 9.30am on Sunday mornings. Most Sundays we offer a Common Worship service of Holy Communion. We hope that when you attend worship at St Simon and St Jude, you will stay behind after the service for coffee and biscuits, when you will have the opportunity of meeting and getting to know the clergy and other members of the congregation. If you have any questions about the church or any of the activities or events connected with it, please feel free to call one of the Ministry Team, either the Reverend Wendy Callan on 01993 830257 or Reverend Anne Hartley on 01993 830160. If you ar thinking about getting married or having a child baptised, the clergy will be happy to arrange a time to meet with you and talk through your plans. St Simon and St Jude is part of a group of parishes known as the Shipton Benefice, and we regularly participate in acts of worship with the other church communities, St Mary's in Shipton- under-Wychwood, St John's in Fifield and St Nicholas in Idbury. The Church Room is available for hire at very reasonable rates. It has a well equipped kitchen and good facilities. For further information, please contact Anne Stokes on 01993 831267, or email annecstokes@aol.com
