Langel
Probus Club Witney
Twice-monthly meetings
are held at the Windrush Leisure Centre
OX28 4YA
at 10.00am (open from
09.30am) on the second and fourth
Wednesdays of each month
The Langel Probus Club is
a social club for retired or
semi-retired men with a business or
professional background.
At each meeting there is a
speaker: the subjects vary greatly and
are always interesting. There
is an optional programme of visits to
places of interest and
entertainment; visits are open to
partners and friends. It is not a
luncheon club but once a month there is
an opportunity to join
members, partners and friends for an
inexpensive lunch at a local
venue.
Prospective members,
whether long standing residents or
recent arrivals to the area, are
made welcome and are invited to attend
three meetings before deciding
about membership.
If you are not a member
but interested in joining please contact
the Secretary, Ron Lee, on
01993 702610.
