What can you put in your Black Recycling Box

Aerosols (Empty)
Aluminium foil (clean & dry)
Household batteries (in an untied bag)
Tins & Cans (clean & dry)
Cardboard (break up all boxes & large pieces of cardboard)
Christmas & Greeting cards
Glass: jars & bottles (separate from other contents if you can)
Mobile phones (place in untied bag)remove your SIM card
Paper (Not Yellow Pages Directories,wet paper, tissue paper, foil, glitter or laminated paper)
Plastic bags (reuse them if you can)
Plastic: other (clean & dry squashed plastic bottles, plastic containers, plant pots
Shoes (in an untied bag)
Textiles (clean & dry in an untied bag)

They will also collect flyaway plastics such as small clear food packaging-film and shrink wrap, polythene, carrier bags, cling film, bubble wrap and compost bags.
Put all flyaway plastics in a CARRIER/PLASTIC BAG and place in one of your black bins.

There is a recycling site in the car park in Riely Close.
