MINERAL EXTRACTION IN EYNSHAM

08 December 2006: the Parish Council has now been informed that the applicant has withdrawn this application. At present it seems likely that a new application will be submitted; and this will result in a further period of public consultation.

Proposed development at Land at Cassington Lane, Eynsham ..
Hanson Aggregates, The Ridge, Chipping Sodbury Bristoll BS37 6AY has submitted additional information to accompany their application to Oxfordshire County Council for planning permission for the extraction of 1.97mt. of sand & gravel from land at Eynsham and processing the mineral at Cassington Quarry (including ancilliary works, conveyors and silt ponds) and deposit of inert waste for restoration. The application is accompanied by an environmental statement.
