EXPLOSION IN NEWLAND STREET
« Eynsham residents were awakened around 6am on Thursday 21 June 2007 by the sound and stench of a gas cylinder explosion at 17 Newland Street. Emergency crews threw a cordon round the area - bemusing motorists and generating long discussion among passers-by. A man is understood to have been charged with arson.
