INTRO
Stroll round the village at any time of year for a kaleidoscope of images even more varied than the housing – exotic and exuberant, quirky or ingenious, relaxed or immaculate, stylish or seductive. But come back in June or July, when clematis spill over the walls and hollyhocks line the footpaths, for a closer look.

ALLOTMENTS
The village has two fields at the end of Oxford Road, divided into 90 allotments. The Allotments Association leases them from the Parish Council and manages them on a day-to-day basis. Usually one or two plots are available to rent (£12.50/year, £7.50 for over- 60s) and some are divided in half. NEW! Seasonal recipes HERE
