Mike Breakell and Glena Chadwick represent Charlbury, Finstock and Fawler. Mike has lived in Finstock since 1978 and is a member of the Development Control committee and the Uplands area sub-committee. He is also on the Licensing committee.
By profession Mike is a town planner who has taught at Oxford Brookes University for over 30 years and is particularly interested in rural planning issues including tourism. He is a member of the Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC) and recently served as its Vice Chairman as well as representing Finstock Halt on the Cotswold Line Promotion Group.
Mike is also involved in preserving and protecting Oxfordshire traditions including Morris Dancing, Morris cars and the Oxfordshire historic houses of Kelmscott Manor and Nuffield Place which were once lived in by William and William Richard Morris respectively.
