Grants July 2009

The Carterton Educational Trust awarded two grants at their July meeting. Recipients were Daniel Jupp of Richens Drive, Carterton, who received £250 towards the cost of his National Diploma in Performing Arts, and Marie Clare Lornie of Northwood Crescent, Carterton, who received £200 towards the cost of an Access to Higher Education qualification in Nursing.

Daniel (pictured), a former pupil of Gateway School, has agreed to return to the school in September to do a workshop with the pupils to help promote drama.
